I just came home from my NAS appointment with the first sweater, Nordstrom Signature asymmetric cashmere in olive. I took the last one in the Palo Alto store. It's a medium, one size too big, but small is sold out on line. The fabric is lovely -- soft, not too too heavy/ warm, feels like it has a good chance of wearing well. The arms are narrow (and long), and even though it's a drop shoulder, the fit in shoulder and neck is trim enough to make it work for me. I'd call it asymmetrical-- just an angle across the front, and that step hem on the one side. But not as dramatic as the EF grey one above. I'll be looking for the olive in Small; medium works but I think small will be more wearable. Less fabric around the bottom sweep.
I'm an EF fan, but the EF sweater in real life is so voluminous as to be sloppy even sized down to XXS, and the fabric is not very nice. One of her made for NAS items, I'd guess; they often have lesser fabric.
I came home with the Vince ribbed wool and cashmere in the find above. Got a small. A HEWI for me, right color, shape, length, right amount of volume. IRL fit is as shown on the model. It's very thick, very warm. Love it.
Sorry so long! I hope the details help...
