First of all, hello! I've only started visiting here in the last few days and have been mostly lurking and enjoying the discussions.

I've been trying to find a sweater dress that works on me, but to no avail. I'm 5'7" and usually wear a size 10 these days. I'm somewhat short-waisted and very hourglassy -- 34D chest, a pretty small waist, but hips and thighs that are on the generous side. Suffice to say that the area from my waist to my knees is not my favorite, but I'm making peace with it. I'm in my 40s, so it's about time.

Any suggestions for a flattering sweater dress on someone with my body type? It's not exactly an uncommon body type, so I don't know why it should be so hard! I know that the very chunky knits and straight cuts make me look like a house. I also prefer to keep the length just above the knee.

Thanks in advance!
