My new enthusiasm is sweater dresses. The first one is what I wore for work today. 1 and 2 are just the dress, an Ann Taylor. The wrinkles are after a few hours of sitting at my desk. 3 and 4 are with the long jacket (is it a coat dress?) and scarf I also wore. I'm combining two loves here--one old (very long jackets, worn as toppers and not just as outerwear) and one new (sweater dresses)--so I'm hoping this works. Oh, and a relatively new shoe love--oxfords with skirts/dresses. Does it work?
5 and 6 are a dress I've had for a while, worn with a very long cardigan, for the fun and dash of it. Do the cardigan and boots work with this dress? And another, probably more important question: When I look at the photos, not the mirror, I see how the dress curves in at the crotch. This is a problem, isn't it? Will a slip fix it?
And 7 and 8 are the black version of the same Ann Taylor, still at the store (I did buy it). Does this combination work? Should I go back and get the cardigan?
And on both the black and grey dresses--what's the best length for me? Because of how the waist works, I could wear it at almost any length. Does it depend upon the topper?
