This past weekend I once again had the pleasure of meeting Sveta and we had great fun. Ready for our aventures in shopping?

The last time we met there was snow outside and we only had time for an enjoyale coffee in London, Ontario. This time with the sun on our side we had an afternoon to check the stores on Yorkdale.
Our mission was to visit the stores that usually are further away from us. After brief consideration, an because we are efficient like that, we decided to start with the spanish brands Mango and Zara.
For me this stores used to be like mushrooms , growing in almost every corner of Lisbon , but it had been awhile since I visited one an they where a novelty for Sveta.
Let me tell you , we were not impressed with Mango (read here the royal 'we' for both of us because, after all , we are almost royalty), and after a quick browsing we moved to Zara.
We were greated by a sea of color, from our beloved teal(wich we restrain ourselves to buy yet another blouse) to vibrant shades of yellow .With so much variety we decided to give it a try.
There is no photographic evidence of the yellow skinnie pants I tried on (and let's ll be grateful for that) but there is of Sveta trying this outfit constituted of this beautiful yellow shade (goldenrod?) blazer and a pleated royal blue skirt.(See photo 1)
My opinion was that the skirt had possibilities but Sveta was not very convinced about it.And the blazer was beautiful but not a very good fit.
We left the store empty handed but much more happy after the color boost.
Next stop JCrew, a first for both of us and a novelty in Canadian lands.Although the store carried a variety of colors and shapes I got into a 'hunting' theme and started trying hats and looking closing at the tweed blazers around the place. We even found a blazer we both liked but the refreshing conclusion was that out twin trouve shrunken blazers are much better.
Our last stop on this shopping tour was Holt Renfrew. We started with the shoe department. We visited the Prada, the Fryes, the Burberry and the Manolo Blikcks and all send their regards.
Sveta found this wonderful cashmere coat in a color that made her look like a million dollars(see photo 2), and I changed my theme from 'Celia goes hunting' to 'Chanel in the snow' and fell in love with this burgundy cloche hat (see photo 3)
Again, no purchases, but we think we saw a Kate Spade bag just like Angie's.
After so much work we needed refreshments and we decided to end our day at Michell's baguete.
I had a chocolate almond croissant that was highly praised by the owner of the store, so much so that we forgot to take pictures before our food was gone.
Our attempts at taking a photo together were a source of great fun and after several shots this was the most dignified we managed to get on a photo (at least Sveta did) (see photo 4)
We ended up with no shopping done but surely had a good time and want to share the fun. We will be plotting for a Toronto meeting with more participants, before the snow.
Thank you Sveta for the visit, it was great to see you again and be able to talk to you.
