Sveta -- possible white jeans alternative?

Sveta, I wondered if these pants might work for you. I just bought them in black (my One cold shoulder WIW) and they fit the bill nicely for a casual jeans alternative. They run fairly generously in size (a size 6 fits me with a little room to spare) and come in tall lengths.

Janet, your post reminded me of Talbot's (not a typical source for pants for me, just like NY&Co. was for you), where I got some long black pants awhile ago. I just did a search of their site, and they have lots of different tall white denim options, so I thought I would piggyback on your thread for Sveta, if you don't mind :).

They have trouser style, bootcuts, straightlegs, and skinnies, and offer different cuts: curvier vs. straighter. Inseams are 35"; lots of sizes. Might be worth a shot.

Ladies, you are lifesavers! I cannot tell you how touched I am for you taking my white pants problem so close to your heart!:-)
Janet, website says twill. I usually very tentative about twill fabrication because it often looks cheap and not subtential, especially in white and I need that support act for my bigger-than-average behind!
How do they feel? Have you seen white in person? Often fabric on white twill is too thin...What size do you wear in Paige if you have any of those? Sorry for so many questions - I HATE online shopping without free shipping and returns, especially for pants!
Also it looks like they don't ship to Canada (surprise here!) I think I will wait for my Express pants to show up and if they are good my quest is done (for trousers at lkeast - i may still look into jeans). However if they are a bust I will look into NY&C and Talbots.
As for Talbots - we have them in Canada but their offering sis are very inferior to US so I don't have much hope to see these jeans in the store. Jonesy, have you seen their white denim in person? I have to look into this option too.
it almost sounds like I am due to a shopping trip to US soon, even before NAS. I wonder if I can ship to the store and try them on there instead of getting them over the border...

Sveta, you are certainly welcome! Suz actually said something about those pants in my WIW thread, so I want to give her credit as well.

I did not take note of the white version when I was in the store, but I have a return to make there, so I'll check it out and let you know my impressions. They also have a stretch gabardine version that I found very flattering, so I'll look for those as well.

I usually wear a 29 or 30 in Paige jeans, depending on the cut -- I think my white Paige's are 30s.
