Do they ship to the US easily? I've been thinking it would be necessary to bother my relations in Toronto to obtain any Danier item.

Saw it on the weekend. Superb! Very soft leather. YOU MUST BUY!
I also tried on Sir Ceit jacket. AWESOME. The pictures are bad but hopefully you can see.Long enough for me! However it was full price at the store.

The only issue is that you are about twice my height. How would you say the sizing runs, and how's the length? It's such a Rick Owens look... Hoping there's a price drop or there goes my budget.

AG I think the leather hoodie is definitely you and grey seems to be a favorite of yours so it should fit into your wardrobe nicely.

Danier is one of our few strongholds in Canada.

We have Canadian facilitators here for those in need. Vivian, say the word and I am at your disposal. They do deliver to the US also but of course there are some costs. But Rae got a jacket from them that way.

Danier sizing is odd for sure. I usually take an xxs there, but sometimes an xs -- just depends on cut and fit I am after.

I noticed that Sveta posted a size S at Danier fitting an 8-10.....and with all due respect to my fellow Canadian fashion idol, I occasionally fit an S, and am not anywhere near an 8 -10. It really depends up on the style, and this is what makes Danier a tad frustrating - they tend to run a bit large through the shoulder area, but not very big through the chest, so fitting is different on everyone I think. It also matters what you want to wear under the jacket - sweaters, or just silk tops and t's. I have worn everything from an xxs to an s - and all within he last couple of years. Just my two cents worth.....

I did not, Una. I've been doing masses of ordering and returning lately. I think I need to find some space to think about what the heck I am doing before I order anything else. I feel a little like an addict and everything looks like crack.

I agree with lisap that the fitting can be tricky... not all styles are the same. And it depends how you want to wear the jacket.

Example -- the two jackets I currently own are xxs.

But I tried on a moto style mixed media linen/ leather one in the spring to show abc -- and needed the xs in that style.

The mixed media moto also came in a blazer version.

For that, I had to go back to xxs.

And if I wanted to wear a Danier as an outdoor jacket I'd need to size up from my regular for sure. Mine are quite snug on me.

I have wide but not broad shoulders.

Yeah, I love that coat. I just look terrible in that grey, is all.
I wish they would go to standard 0-14 sizing. They carry the full range so why they have their own system, starting at xxxs, is beyond me.

Just came back from Danier - alaskagirl: grey hooded thing is quite short - like top of hip length. In all honestly, it didn't wow me, nor strike me as worth the price. It's not all leather - there are knit panels on the sleeves etc. It looks better on line than it does IRL in my opinion, for what it's worth:)

I tried on the stone moto that Suz linked to , and although moto's are 30% off right now, it didn't wow me either. Hmm, maybe it's me The colour was maybe not quite right on me, but it also was a very plain jacket from the front, and when worn open was super uninteresting. Happy to have saved myself $300
