Sweet Suz sent me a pair of two-tone green Fluevog Mary-Jane style pumps that she was not wearing. She very kindly thought they might work for me since they could be the right size and had that retro look that I adore.
Well they are fabulous - I love the colour, the strap detail in the front, the heel shape and even more than that, the fit and comfort. I am going to wear these and smile every time I cannot thank you enough Suz.
Your card actually brought a wee tear to my eye with your thoughtfulness...and how did you know that sunflowers are my favourite flowers EVER? Here's a pic of your card and then the print I have in my bedroom. I grew up on a farm in the country and we had sunflowers in two of our fields, as well as wild ones that grew in the ditch. They ARE my childhood, if you know what I mean.
My son Iain asked where the shoes came from and when I told him, he commented that "this Angie lady and this blog must be something really special 'cause you guys send stuff to people you've never even met".
