There was a hair appointment scheduled for today.

Then, to my disbelief, I've discovered that the last in this year's series of children's concerts we regularly go to was scheduled for today. No idea why I thought it was next weekend.

So, between the hairstylist and the kid, the kid won.

And, we went to the concert hall, you can normally buy tickets on the day. You see where this is going, right? All today's performances (3!!!) were sold out!

So, no concert AND no fresh haircut.

No tears from me either.
Yet.

I've asked to be put on the waiting list at the salon if anyone cancels their appointment, but my stylist is super busy for weeks ahead. Worse case scenario is that there won't be any suitable time slots before my next appointment (I usually book 2-3 ahead) which is end of January.

My fringe is already too long
