I was going to pose this individually to our sewing superstar Amy (who's already familiar with it, too), but maybe there's additional sage advice in numbers.

This blouse, I really love the pattern and I should be able to fit somewhere within either 14 or 16, so could order both and try them. I would wear it with jackets and cardigans.
Anyhow, I dislike the bow, and bows like that in general. Is there a way to remove it without ruining the structural integrity of the garment? I don't expect it to look completely perfect, or at least like nothing was there before, but my mom's a sewer and pretty clever at doing these things.
I don't exactly hate the look of bows (and could warm up to them a little, though the less embellishment, the better, always, for me). But as I'm large-busted, would it be a bad look for me if the bow had to stay? I really like the blouse otherwise.
Thanks!
