So, in keeping with thinking of actual outfits for my daily life today, I went by Beall's after my lap swim. I was still in my suit, with my boardshorts and old demoted tee over them. Feeling less than fab. And it hit me - I often go other places after my swim and want to look respectable. I had an ombre pink/orange lounge dress that fit the bill but it's worn out and been purged.

On to the contenders. First off, I had tried on both of these before in the past and put them back. Full price, juniors, blah blah. I had a list of reasons not to buy. Well, now I'm thinking of course surf wear is going to be juniors. You just don't see middle aged surfer clothing. [ Niche market, anyone?? ] So I'm giving myself a total pass on the whole Juniors thing. Secondly, I have a true legitimate need for post water activity dress. No, it's not as fun as a the white BCBG sundress, but will it get used more? Yep!

And this brings me to the power of pics. I remember my BF pooh poohing blush last week at H&M. Well, this shade is more peach I think, but very forgettable on me ha! In the store I couldn't see it. But at home, yeah. Bummer, too, as I liked the loose romper vibe. I think the black and white is the winner, but thought I would share my results at any rate.
The first pic is what I wore post-swim to shop. pics 2 and 3 are washed out so I tried again

yay - B & W Hurley
nay - O'neill peach romper

or none of the above
