Anyone familiar with the brand? It doesn't come up in the forum often, but I saw that some sneakers were collected in the finds.
I am interested in the pair below. I would appreciate any feedback on sizing, comfort and durability of the brand.

I find them heavy and not really the thing for all-day walking for my aging feet and knees... but always think they’re stylish (!)

I know lots of people love them for the stripped-down style, but I found them super uncomfortable. Very flat inside, not much cushioning, and very long and narrow.

I have not found them comfortable, to be honest. Too flat and wide for my feet, which are relatively narrow.

ECCO makes silver metallic sneakers that are light weight. A heavy shoe can be a lot of work and can wear you out if you walk much.

try sizing up and adding a shoe insert for arch support if you need it. they are super cute, but agree with the heaviness and lack of sole flexing.

I've had a pair of white Superga sneakers for three years and have worn them a lot. I added a more comfortable insole with support which makes them much more wearable.

Interesting conversation. I just ordered a pair because it was so hard to resist the mustard color. I only tried on briefly at the store for sizing. When my pair arrives, I’ll make sure to give them a true try out in the house now that I’ve heard these negative reviews.

Can someone comment on how the name of the brand is pronounced? SUPer-gah. Su-PAIR-gah. I think they are super cute but have never pulled the trigger on a pair (I have never seen them in in a store here in Nebraska.....)

I enjoyed my pair of grey superga sneakers but the interior lining by my heels disintegrated way too quickly.

I'd heard they were great and super comfortable travel shoes, so I bought a pair and wore them for part of my recent vacation. I vote not comfortable (ETA: my feet are not fussy in any way). I'd intended to wear them both with and without socks but quickly found there was no way I would be able to wear them without socks. My Converse are about the same weight and have the same lack of arch support but the Cons are much softer than the Superga and definitely win out.

I have a pair of blue metallic ones and they required a little experimentation before they worked for me. I need to wear them with insoles and invisible socks to fill up the extra room and up the comfort level. I also had to relace them to get the fit right — at first they seemed like they were going to slip off my heels. I need to do a special lacing technique and tie them fairly tight for them to be secure, but once I got that right, I’ve enjoyed wearing them. They are a little on the heavy side, but not so much to be a deal-breaker.

I remember trying on another pair a couple of years ago that didn’t work for me at all, so I think the fit and comfort varies quite a bit across styles.

I tried some on once. They weighed a ton and felt wide and clunky. I passed. And I do wear Converse tennies all the time.

I have been wearing white canvas Supergas for two or three years now. I need to size up for length compared to my size in other shoes and lace them tight, but they work for me BECAUSE they have no arch support.

I have a red and black tweed pair. Looked so classy! Wore them twice. Heavy, flat, no arch support. Would not recommend.

I tried on a pair of canvas Supergas a couple years ago. I found them to be stiffer and narrower than Chuck Taylors, which I also find too narrow and stiff now, though I used to wear them all the time. There are more foot-friendly fashion sneaks out there, IMO.

Those NAS shoes that Giselle recommends are delightful. Plus they are on Angie's list so you know you can't go wrong.
