Super Distressed jeans

I think these are cool, very much a statement item. I really like the third pair you posted. I'm obsessed with those copper AW shoes in the inspiration image. TDF. Love the contrast with the jeans.

I like the darker color and higher contrast of the first pair, BUT I don't like the fact that they are only distressed on the front. The second and third pairs have distressing on front and back, but I don't like them as well.

I like the TR Camerons! I thought about trying them when I was looking for baggy, ripped jeans last summer but they were a bit too much money for me.
It bugs me a bit how the distressing on the other 2 pairs is really square looking, like someone cut it out with scissors rather than ripping it.

It's nice that the Tsubis are reinforced though. I've had to reinforce a couple of the holes myself on my ripped jeans (they got too big and you could see my thigh flab through them...ew), but it was pretty easy to do with iron-on interfacing.

I love the true religions, but don't like any of the others. For me, the shape and color is much more appealing.

I'm crazy about super distressed or even mid-level distressed jeans so I like all of them. The Camerons will start to get the threads hanging like the first Ksubis after some time.

I also like the True Religions best. But I'm with Una, thinking there's got to be a DIY. I balk at the idea of $300 jeans that already look like they have a lot of miles on them, even though I like the look and wouldn't mind some for myself.

Without looking at all the other links, I love the cut of the original jeans, not really into the distressing myself, but think the outfit is great.

I think this is an easy DYI. Also, my experience with jeans with holes is that they are hard to get on. My toes go into the holes and not the leg.

I like both the ones you posted way better than the inspiration. And I LOVE destroyed jeans in general. I bet you could find a great vintage pair someplace if you wanted. I really prefer the wear patterns to be in realistic places, like the knees, thighs, and pockets. Makes zero sense to me to have threadbare hems...

I like the last pair the best, with the mix of patched and shredded holes. I thought the second pair was too baggy in the butt when she turned around! I like the True Religions, but I'm not sure about all that heavy whiskering.

i'm having a 90's flashback. i'm ok with the look, but not sure that this is a trend that is worth spending $200 plus on. i would try to find a vintage pair, or distress a pair of old denims that you already have.
