Angie's wonderful series and a couple of Synne's recent posts reminder me that I'd like to update my sunglasses this season. What styles are "in" where you live?
Glad the thin sunglasses trend is over (?). Made my face rival a thousand moons! I have tortoise and animalprint sunglasses from a few seasons ago. Slightly wide and slightly squarish is what I prefer.
I think mine are 70ies? Not sure.
Sunglasses are one area where DYOT prevails, and where you have to choose also based on your face shape and what looks good on you vs. Trends.

Where I live (in the land of yoga pants and garishly branded designer wear) I see mostly black plastic wayfarer style ones. Nothing really different, interesting, or notable, I guess. I have prescription Ray Ban gold aviators that I've worn every year for as far as I can remember...
Fringe trends here are smaller 90s style and round John Lennon style glasses. But Jackie O and 70s styles are the most popular. Lots of gold, silver, tortoiseshell and of course black.
Aviator, cat eye, big and bold - most shapes seem to be worn.
