I love the Gentle Souls and the Ancient Greeks (real clincher when I saw the blue toes pic). (I'm personally not feeling the pointy mule vibe that is everywhere, but yours are still a nicer version of them!) To feel better about paying for real leather sandals, keep in mind that a friendship with a cobbler will keep all-leather shoes going for many years! They have a hard time working with rubber souls (although a good one can do it!) but leather is their bread and butter.
