Smittie, Stylefan - I think there are a bunch of us loving our OTF pants from Lululemon. Bonnie, Lisap, me. I'm sure there are more.

Black shorts, black Converse. Bare legs, sleeveless tops. That about it for this summer.

My MVPs have been my navy LOFT sheath dress (second year and still my favorite, an awesome travel dress that is stretchy but structured and never wrinkles) and my Boden Helena olive chino dress (it has pockets!). Both hot almost weekly wear, but were easily changed up with different sandals, toppers and accessories. Also, I am always grabbing last year’s LOFT olive utility peplum topper.

I agree that the Lululemon On The Fly pants are MVP for a lot of us. Another Florida purchase for me.

So many great items here - I am going to bookmark and consider many of these for next summer.

Runcarla - I am waving at my t-shirt "cousin" - one of my favorites this summer has been my Uniqlo Hokusai that I bought in Tokyo last summer (Find 1) - best travel souvenir and goes with all my new wardrobe items. I bought another in San Francisco last week, but haven't worn it yet. They re both mens - why are men's tees on you forbidden list?

My Tumi convertible bag/pack has been in heavy rotation, along with my comfy Bzees and my new wide mustard crops (which go beautifully with both Hohusai tees..

Beautiful selections, karen13. I find the high crew neck and boxy shape of men's t-shirts isn't very flattering to my broad shouldered, small chested somewhat H shape. How do you style your t's?

I have this asymmetrical, gauzy silk Helmut Lang tank top in desert tans and browns, and I love that stupid top. I don't normally do horizontal stripes but when I saw this top I made an exception because it's such a pretty top. The weight gain has the top in my "holding zone" storage tub, and I'm hoping that the gym works so that I can wear this top again!
In general, any tank top that is a longer length winds up being a heavy hitter in my wardrobe, but my lifestyle chews through summer clothes so most of them don't last very long. How that Helmut Lang top has survived for the last 8 years or so without disintegrating is beyond me LOL

My MVPs and even GOATs (most have been MVPs for several summers) have been silk pieces and EF knit dresses and shoes. Silk is just right for me, breezy but can be warm enough when needed.

I love hearing about everyone mvps. And surprised by the Lululemons, must be me, but I’ve yet to crack the sizing code there, every i try is either too thought or too big...
Anyway. My mvps are duplicated footwear, cognac handbag and some items from my Pilates capsule...

Surprisingly, mine have all been casual wear. Must say something about where my work wardrobe is that nothing jumps to mind from that side of the closet.

Anthro White speckled Chinos. Perfect fit and the color in them gives a little more interest than normal white pants.

Daniel Rainn eyelet top: perfect popover top for summer events

Sundance eyelet t-shirt: total workhorse

Vince Camuto tie-front blouse: super easy. just duplicated in pink

AT Peplum Denim jacket: the grab and go jacket for Northern CA summer nights

After few years of not wearing skirts much, this summer I wore skirts at least 2 times per week. Main reason was probably that they were easier to fit and accommodate my perpetual weight fluctuations.

I am in awe about the midi/maxi and Carmen necklines trend, so stocked up on everything alike(for ex. pleated midis and some summer maxi dresses, and tops with Carmen neck) but my GOAT of MVP for summer is always THE unbeatable white knee length denim/twill skirt (this year was a twill one with button downs on front)... and 2019 was all about a tan block heeled mule (it's second season now) and a silver tote!

My MVP has to be these shorts from REI. I’ve already worn them at least a dozen times. I have them in olive, and just ordered them in light grey. They have a hidden drawstring for a great fit.

For non gear, my MVP would be my EF linen dress. It’s from last year and I love it.

My MVP this summer have been lightweight denim jackets and jeans and sneakers. I have a lot of summer tops from when I lived in a place that had 8 months of summer, so I've been trying to wear them on warm days but there haven't been many so far.
