Well, where in the world do you live? Where is the party, and how big will it be? What do you look like, how old are you, and what style(s) do you prefer? Knowing a bit about you would help the forum to come up with suggestions for you. (I found no information in your profile ... Perhaps you will consider to provide some info there--for future reference as well.)

I suggest answering the questions above. Without that I imagine something breezy/floaty. A dress with sandals or espadrilles or same shoes with wider soft crops and a flowing top. Chandelier or other long earrings. Bangles. But if fancier add some glitz somewhere. Beading, shine, etc. But if tailored is more your style, adjust the cut and fabrication.

And smaller jewelry is fine too. I think I imagine a certain style that wouldn’t necessarily fit my life

A floaty summer dress or a jumpsuit with a denim jacket is what I would wear.

I would probably wear my maxi dress to something like that, with jacket or small cardigan to put over when it cooled down. Pic is only for inspo.

Is this a cookout? Family party? Adult cocktail?
If it’s a back yard party, I’d probably wear a pair of shorts and nice tee with a sweater or denim jacket to throw on if it cools off.

I'm thinking maxi dress and flat sandals, but you may need something dressier than that.

without knowing more specifics about the event, i'm going to vomit suggestions.

1) white shorts and a fun tee/ mariniere/linen shirt.

2) white shorts and a short kaftan for a slightly dressier evening but not super formal (https://www.amazon.com/gp/prod.....&th=1) has lots of choices.

3) maxi or sundress for a slightly more formal event.

4) white linen pants and a white linen shirt for formal events--massimo dutti has some great one.
