Love the shoes especially! I'm the opposite, the only time I feel right dressing is summer. Or rather, anytime I don't need layers. I need to figure out how to translate my summer minimalism to winter....somehow...

You certainly are kidding, Lisa! LOVE everything in this outfit! But yes, summer is hectic- and me, too- wearing stuff to survive the heat- but I rarely do shorts or pants in the heat- which you did here with such a great french panache! I just do dresses or white denim skirt and a top-and slides/mules nowadays. Your shoes here are TDF indeed:-) and I can so relate loving them so much LOL but I hope you'll survive them eventually!:-)

LOVE you in the green, and your hair is so fab.

It's hard for anyone to be edgy in summer. You have nailed polished casual though. You look great! Love your hair!

I love this outfit - so chic! Effortless and stylish. You always look perfectly polished Lisa. You look smashing here!
I feel the same way about summer dressing…. My fall/winter wardrobe is soo much larger than summer.

Can I just say what a good writer you are? You had me laughing and all set up for a disaster of an outfit. The second is certainly not true, which I think is testament to disciplined buying, such that even things you “randomly toss together” wind up working so well!
I agree with you about winter dressing—the layers and textures are so much fun, and I love the rich patterns too. Rn I’m looking for inspiration for dark, moody dressing in hot weather, when every extra bit of fabric is too much.

Would it matter if you were alone in your “random summer looks”?
I suppose you’re joking. I am too serious in my writing here.
Anyway your style nous definitely comes through with the jewellery and slides. And I can’t see any grey hair at all. I have had grey hair for 15 years at the same age as you.

Oh Jenni . I wish I were a better communicator . But thank you , I guess ?
