That’s a very cute collection of casual summer dresses!
I have such a hard time with summer dresses because casual seems to equal spaghetti straps (or otherwise unwearable with a real bra) or above the knee length to so many designers.
My current summer dresses are below. I might be missing one or two. I’ve included jumpsuits because they function similarly. I’m feeling less enthusiastic about my old patterned summer dresses than I have in the past, and didn’t even wear some of them last year, so they may be on the way out. Which leaves me with solid black, navy, and sage dresses, and black and grey jumpsuits! Yikes, kind of plain, but I may just go with it for now and add jewelry and rely on great bags and sandals to punch things up.
I still like that blue patterned handkerchief hem dress from Anthro — I removed the sleeves a couple of years ago to make it truly a summer dress and like it that way.
The batik-ish Tommy Bahama makes a good beach/poolside/vacation dress — I wear it like a coverup. It’s a little longer on me than the model, just below the knee. I’ll keep that one too even though I’m a little tired of it.
The tropical print is a little bodycon but I seem to be slowly losing a little of my extra Covid/winter fluff so maybe I’ll wear it again.
The geometric print Anthro dress is a bit much in pattern so I have to be in the right mood to wear it, but once it’s on, it does look nice and the fit and comfort are really good.
It is a hard task to find summer dresses that have a little shape but don’t cling!
