I hope you don't mind that word, I am flattered if someone says something looks sexy but I lived in LA for way to long. I know "hot" replaced sexy a while ago, but I'm in that fearless 50 decade where I'm ready to call a spade a spade. Or the word reminds me of reading my first issues of Cosmo, not sure which.

...and I have to admit, cold-blooded me shuddered just a bit when you mentioned 55 degree summers. If I tried to wear something like that in 55 degree weather I would simply turn into a popsicle I'd be so freezing. Aww, hell, who am I kidding --it could be 75 and I'd still be freezing in it. So I'm jealous you can wear something so fun and leg/arm bearing and be comfortable in it in those kinds of temps!

I think you look great - but am I the only one who would have thought "cute summer dress" could entail any outfit for summer that is cute like shorts or capris and a cute top, etc. - as opposed to being specifically "A cute summer Dress"?

I think the dress is great...Una-Cute. I'm glad that you are staying true to yourself. Part of looking "cute" is feeling confident about what you are wearing. I would probably wear the same sort of thing. Anything else would make me feel like I was wearing a costume since it wouldn't really be "me". Actually, I want that dress!

Totally you AND totally works with the dress code. I like the tension between the UWP heels and the soft ethereal print on the dress. I would add some bright clutch or bag and keep it moving. (Turquoise/teal came to mind as a nice color but I am not sure you have that in your closet already) -- just a thought.
