Baking is my favorite hobby that helps me destress, and I enjoy baking for other people/bringing dessert to a gathering. I was very happy the past summer when the pandemic-related restrictions eased a little so there were numerous outdoor events to bake for. I enjoy making elaborate cakes for such occasions. My signature cakes are mousse cakes (love the texture). Last two years I challenged myself to tackle the really elaborate multilayer "entremet" mouse cakes, often with mirror glaze.

Sharing photos of the ones I made this summer. I tried to take photos of both whole cakes & slices, but did not get all of them all the time. Summer baking is all about the fruit for me, while in winter I prefer chocolate/nuts flavors. Sadly, there isn't much hope to have equivalent baking opportunities this fall/winter.
