Summer booties: opinions on this pair?

In addition to my Amazon credit, I have accrued a ton of Gap rewards due to DS's recent growth spurt... I have been browsing and came across these booties, which I pretty much love. Given my climate and aversion to open toed shoes, do they seem like a versatile casual summer bootie, or too OTT/hybrid?

Those are gorgeous and they scream your name. They seem like a great summer bootie to me, and not OTT at all.

Totally your style. Maybe a bit OTT for workwear but otherwise, not at all.

I do wonder about the comfort factor -- for some reason the leather looks a bit stiff. But obviously you'd try on.

I think these are great, and not OTT. The studs look very well-placed design-wise to me. I think the 'laces' weaving is gorgeous. I've only gotten a peek at your style but you look incredibly effortlessly cool in recent posts, and these look like they'd fit well. I also hate open-toed shoes but having ventilation through the sides is a plus.

I love the look. Can you wear closed toe shoes w/o socks? I ask because I can't (I get blisters on the tops of my toes if I don't wear socks regardless of how comfortable the shoe is), which makes things with cutouts and open weaves useless for me.

I love this type of bootie however I am not so crazy about this one in particular. For some reason I am seeing you in this style but a slightly more refined version. For example something with a slightly longer and pointed toe box.

Love these! The seam/stitching would cut across a bunion, but as I recall, you don't have that problem.

I like those too, Anna, but I hate buckling shoes in summer. Also have had fit issues with Jeffrey Campbell, sadly.
