I’ve always liked and often owned a pair of red summer shoes. This year I feel like adding a bit more red through accessories. Cold red is not a bad color on me but I get bored with brights fast and in clothing, it doesn’t have a great longevity in my closet. But accessories work.

Photos 1 to 5 is what I have - one bag is very old, probably bought more than 10 years ago. Red flats are 5 years old. The red pouch, sandals and a blue with red stripe shirt are new.
Photo 6 - red silk bandana on the way to me. I’m not into scarves that much, maybe to accessorize a straw bag. Undecided. I’m looking for a red beaded necklace and maybe a red hair clip. Seems like a lot!

What colors are your accessories this summer? Are looking for anything different?

Update. Well, the Gap silk scarf is nice but I will return it. I tried it and found that it is just not for me. When I wear it, I feel overly styled. I added a striped light cotton sweater that is more like a t-shirt I also bought a red t-shirt from Kotn (photos #7&8). I have it in black and enjoyed wearing it on vacations. It’s lovely and fits well but I’m not sure. Maybe it will be too much I’m still waiting to receive my red necklace but I think it will be all
