Suggestions for slip shorts?

Does anyone have recommendations for silky slip shorts with a longer inseam (not boy short undies) that aren’t shapewear? I’ve ordered some pairs online but they aren’t slippery enough for skirts to glide over. I love wearing skirts and dresses in the summer, but the thigh chafing in heat and humidity is a problem. Ideas?

How about Body Glide or Monistat’s Chafing Relief Powder Gel? I wear slip shorts for warmth but bought mine from Nordstrom decades ago and never saw them after that.

I really like Jockey Skimmies Slipshorts.

There’s a brand I’ve seen online but haven’t tried: Thigh Society. They offer different fabric weights and many colors. And different lengths too.

I also like the Jockey Slipshorts. Their longer length stays put and is really comfortable. If I want a bit more hold, the Assets shorts at Target are good; I go up a size in those as they have a less aggressive version of the Spanx fit.

Another vote jockey slip short, but I’m say that mine are 10+ years old so no idea if they are still them same

I got these from Amazon a few years ago. They are very lightweight which I like for summer. I have tried Jockey and they bind at my waist - I do have a large waist size and am very sensitive to anything tight so that makes a difference for me.

I also recommend the Jockey version, but recently heard a thumbs up from a friend on the Thigh Society version. The Jockeys come in two lengths, which may be useful. And are often in sale at the Jockey site or Macy's.

aloha emily - am I wrong in imagining that you were looking for something more like an actual slip, only divided into a shorts format?

The ones recommended here seem more like longer boyshorts.

Thanks again! April- either one. Something slippery and soft that prevents rub and chafe.

I tried a pair of jockey skimmies this week and they were great! Ordered some more on Macys.com where they were just $12 a pair.

I have these from Amazon, and have found they work really well for me. They don't roll up, the lace isn't irritating like I thought it might be, and they're pretty in case the wind blows up a shorter skirt.
