Suggestion for everyday earrings?

I thought about wishing for a new pair of everyday earrings from my godmother for christmas.
I'm wearing earrings all the time. They have to be precious metal or steel because I have sensitive ears and I prefer silver. My earrings to go are a pair of really small silver hoops and I have a pair of silver studs, too. I thought about getting some faux pearl studs or some moissanite studs. Or something dangly?

I'm currently wearing a pair of small silver knots. Anything else snags on my hat which is totally necessary at the moment. I usually I rotate through diamonte studs and faux pearls x

I mainly wear silver so during the week I stick to anything that is not a stud because it jab me in the neck when I'm on the phone. So usually it is silver hoops or some random dangly earrings that catch my eye on the day.

I don't have them yet but I'd like a pair of faux pearl drop earrings for daily wear. I think pearl earrings would brighten up the face in the same way a pearl necklace works as contrast with darker clothes.

My everyday earrings are brushed silver, fairly wide 1/2" hoops. I also wear studs and some dangly earrings on french wires.

Pearl studs would be a nice choice (and skip the faux--real cultured or freshwater pearl earrings are not very expensive). If you want silver, check out the Sundance catalog online (especially the sale section!). Sundance also offers nice sets of two or three stud earrings for a reasonable price.

I used to wear a pair of silver hoops basically every day. Now I wear a pair of little diamond studs that my boyfriend got me for our third anniversary (3.5 years ago). I rarely change them, even for fancy occasions, because they REALLY go with everything. Cost per wear is down to pennies at this point.

I alternate between a pair of pearl studs and pink cz and silver studs . I used to wear silver hoops but they no longer feel right...

The earrings I design and wear every day are simple with swirly wire-wrapping, using agate, jasper or other quartz beads and sterling silver wire. I love the sparkle of Swarovski beads in their own separate designs as well.

I DO think some nice diamond studs should be in every gal's jewelry box!

I am always trying to make my outfits more casual so I like Viv & Ingrid's hoops - they have a little casual boho vibe to them. The tiniest size looks good with short hair.

I am all over the map on this ! I LOVE accessories, especially jewelry. I even carry a pair of faux pearl earrings in my bag in case I ever run out of the house ( GASP ) without a pair. ( Sometimes, I put them on my sister if dare go out with me without a pair on. )

I agree with you. A pair of pearl or faux diamond. They don't even have to be moissanite. There are great, precious metal faux diamonds out there. I also love hoops with a little twist. Whether it is stones or a wavy shape. Check out HSN.com or QVC.com. They have great stuff, even in stainless steel and silver or gold -plated silver.

I wear a pair of sculptured silver dot earrings every day. I had a pair I bought in Denmark; I lost them and was heartbroken. My lovely husband sourced another identical pair for me and surprised me for my birthday 2 years ago. I feel a bit naked without them nowadays.

Laura, I've been designing and crafting jewelry - wire-wrapped earrings, bracelets and bangles - for about five years now. Actually, my own business is under development! For now, I'm enjoying using my imagination and hands to create wearable works of art! Such fun should be illegal.

Thanks for your replies! I think I will go with the faux diamond studs as a classic. And for the next time some dangly pearl earrings, I think.

Laura, this earrings are gorgeous! They look truly special, although I would have to wear my hair up with earrings like these. But I'm definitely going to keep them in mind for a later time! I bookmarked the site.

I don't literally wear earrings every day, but the two that com out to play most often for me are both dangly:
1. A silver hoop with three silver/pewter stones hanging from it
and my favourite: 2. A hook earring from which dangles a silver ball stacked on top of an oversized pearl.

Michelle, I can imagine it well with your description, also without pictures! I had earings just like your second ones once and I loved them. But they weren't real silver so I can't wear them anymore.
