Suede Footwear in Seattle?

I will be in the Seattle area in mid-February for a funeral/memorial service. I have black/charcoal clothing up the wazoo, but the footwear I would prefer to pack is suede. I've sprayed them of course, but I don't want to ruin them. Should I leave them behind?

You will be fine. Just don't go playing in puddles in your suede shoes.

Agree with Angie. We usually don't get pouring, sloppy rain. More drizzle. Most days, suede is fine.

eta: It just occurred to me, though, if there's any graveside walking involved, you might want something different. Though usually there is an astroturf-type carpet put down for that sort of thing, so you'd probably still be fine.

I prefer suede and I live in Seattle! I spray it twice (let it sit 12-24 hours between sprays) and I've never had a problem.

I would watch out of any mud situations, but that would be true no matter what shoes you wore (more so for suede, though).

Thanks! I figured I would wear Dansko clogs for travel and for graveside and the dressier Munro suede shooties for the church service the day before. I still want to pack at least one more pair to soothe my fussy feet. . .
