such a great winter look, for blondes especially

I have been meaning to email everyone. I am open to any suggestion (aka have not come up with my own plan). I enjoy doing research. We could go to the Met (Costume Institute, for example), art museums, shopping of course, I can look up sample sales for that time period...anything! I can start a thread later today. I'm about to run and do some stuff now.

Nice look - thanks for sharing. If I wasn't trying NOT to buy more jackets (and I really want a silver moto) I'd be all over this.

I might not be making it to NYC now - DD needs a root canal (and she's only 4, but supposedly not as bad on a baby tooth as adult ! sniff sniff) It might be that week and I just don't want to leave not knowing how she'll handle it. I'm still waiting for the dentist to confirm schedule.

Janet, you could easily copy this look in a monochromatic ensemble of another color. I love all the details here, every one. And separately none (apart from the silver jacket) are particularly far-fetched. I bet you could do a knockout amazing version of this. In your sleep!

Zap, I'm linked to Muubaa on Facebook and that's one of the occasional pictorials they linked to. It's cool to see products in actual use. Also interestingly this model at least looks kind of petite to me, and she's doing fine with the jacket (Muubaa jackets seem to have ridiculously long sleeves, and I don't think they do petite sizing. I once wrote to them about that and they never responded. Maybe because she's this supposedly well-known blogger, she gets something with more of a custom fit?)

Gorgeous! The metallic is a beautiful option to winter white except that I think there's more mileage in the latter. And you're right, it does compliment blondes perfectly!
