Subtle stripes and retro track pants

Dear Fabbers,
Angie’s wonderful post on statement stripes gave me this outfit idea. Inspiration is the diagonal striped shirt with tuxedo jeans.
The only striped top I have is the long silk blouse I am wearing, which is a wardrobe orphan. I have new retro track pants in black and in red, and I used them instead of the tuxedo jeans.

The first outfit consists of the striped blouse (Ralph Lauren), a black pair of track pants (Active USA), a thin leather jacket (Riani), Moschino silk scarf, silver pumps (Dune), black crossbody (travel souvenir) and red sunglasses (Moschino).

In the second outfit, I use the same striped blouse, a grey leather moto (Zara), a white silk scarf with ruffles (thrifted), black shiny platform oxfords (Tod’s) and a smaller black bag (Marc Picard).

The third outfit is a bonus with the red track pants (Active USA). Combined with a black silk blouse, a black peplum blazer (Escada) and a silk scarf (Moschino Cheap and Chic). I also added two strass brooches. Same bag and shoes as in the second outfit.

These outfits are for the autumn - I really look forward to start wearing autumn outfits.... I have not been wearing my new track pants yet. What do you guys think of the outfits? Grateful for honest feedback, ideas, comments and whatever comes to mind.

You had me at the side striped track pants - they are both gorgeous and you have styled them beautifully. Just wow! I have shied away from this as looking too "gym" when I wear them but what you have done here is so elegant. As alway impeccable and the details stunning.

I like 1 and 2 the best. I don't have your talent for creating balanced combinations of bold pieces, but if I did, I might have left off the scarves, as I think they gild the lily just a little. For me, the beauty is in the simplicity and strength of the statement.

Great pants!
I love # 1 best because the stripes suit you so well and the shirt is unexpected with the pants.
I think the gray jacket color is too soft for the crisp stripes.

I cannot pick a favourite, because they are all sublime. I love how you have styled these track pants, they are a great addition to your wardrobe. To dress up my track pants I usually add heels, but I love how you have achieved a dressy look by adding the beautiful scarves and jackets. Very inspiring!

Bijou, thank you very much, you are always so kind. Your styling of the track pants is fantastic (thanks again for the suggestion in my previous post re retro track pants). The silver pumps in no 1 have chunky heels, about 5,5 cm, but the pants are not very long, so I had to pull them a bit lower to work with the pumps. Unfortunately, it would not be possible with higher heels. So I can´t use my high heeled booties, which would otherwise be perfect. The length is actually only perfect with low heel shoes.
