Think those jeans are great and I can see why you want to give them a chance to work for you. You have been given lots of great ideas. I don’t have much to add, other than to echo the suggestions avoiding over feminine and perhaps adding a little edge to your outfit. I think black shoes or boots would be great. Tan and cream on top would be classic!

Definitely not rhinestone cowboy.

Haven't read the other comments, pardon if I repeat other advice.
I think these would be the extra "oomph" element to an outfit. Not too "oomph-y" though - subtle and sophisticated. That is, as you'd normally wear this cut of jeans, but with the pearls and rough edge, the jeans themselves add the bit of extra.

One more try - I'm tongue-tied this morning: Don't add to the jeans, the jeans themselves add to the outfit.

Hope that helps?!?

platform white sneakers or mannish loafers in black or cream or white.

don't you have a mcqueen skull scarf to edge this up a bit more? or are you off scarves as toppers?

don't you have br sweater in an earth tone?

amping up the masculine feels more you with the femme pants, mani/pedi and hair.--i could be wrong.

Uh… tbh, I feel they’re venturing into rhinestone cowboy territory… not that this can’t be a High Style, but that *is* the territory if you ask me…

Haven't time to read all the other answers, but my immediate thought is: Why don't you style these fun jeans with some of your lovely cream items?

Love them! You said you have white converse, I'd try those first or the white platforms. Almost any top would work but it might feel more pulled together if it has a light color in it.

I’d wear them with a pullover in a shade of white with sneakers, loafers, hi-tops or boots to match. Or a patterned top that picks up the shade of white.

Your earth toned tops would work well too. Not sure how well dark footwear would look. Maybe bookend your hair? Match the top.

So while these are all great styling ideas, they lead to one thing: buying additional pieces just to make them work. I don't own much white at all - shoes, pullovers or otherwise and am not looking to change that. Also - when I ask myself if my current style "icons" would wear them - the answer is a resounding "no". Mind you, my style heroes wouldn't wear much at all out of my closet - hahaha. Styling them with black boots, sweater and coat might be my best bet - but I hear the hesitation in your words, Angie, and am paying attention to that.

Thank you all for indulging me here - I appreciate your time!

I’ve stalked here for a few years but have been too nervous to post. There are so many knowledgeable women here - it can be a bit intimidating. This one speaks to me though. Fellow Canadian here from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I am going a totally different route and suggesting that if you really like the style and fit but not the bling, can you just remove the pearls? Would you get more wear out of them that way? I’m all for reusing, recycling, repurposing, especially with great fitting items.

Hi Jaynie - waving to you from Wpg ( through the smoke ) I’d donate them - they aren’t special enough without the pearls to warrant picking them all off .

You might as well try out the jeans with what you’ve got, because why not?, but I feel like you especially like to match (vibe and color) and that is why they have been orphaned in your closet so long. It’s smart of you to draw the line and say, nope, not adding white to make them work. I think for me it’s sad to see them go because you said they fit so well, but plenty of fish and so on.

Sign me up for rhinestone cowboy! I have a pair of pearl embellished jeans and I wear them All. The. Time. when the weather is cool enough for denim. I don’t wear white tops, as a general rule. I don’t worry too much about the pearls, to be honest. Sometimes I play up the goth/glam vibe by upping the shine with more jewelry, metallic fabrics, velvet. Sometimes I just treat them like plain old jeans.

Ooooh with white cowboy boots! Swoon Jessikams!! I want jeans like this.

What about a “flat-lay” like Runcarla does? Quicker than trying all combos on, and we can help choose!
( Pretty please?)

I think Jessiekams is right, treat them like any other jeans, forget about the pearls if you can.

Not much useful to add except to echo the 'keep it simple' chorus (shocker from me, I know) ... I think these would like awesome with black boots and a black sweater ... Almost an edgy cheeky twist on the classic black dress and pearl necklace vibe. I agree tlwith those that say you don't necessarily have to echo the pearls elsewhere in the outfit - although you could always do a white nail as a subtle repeat of the colour.

Wow - Jessikams! Such great styling ! Looks great on you
