Update! Well I feel a lot better now. I wore the pants to work (actually pretty much the whole outfit. Ha!) and got compliments on my pants (I normally wear jeans to work; it is a casual office ). I see Angie has addressed the ankle-pants fit issue in her blog (http://youlookfab.com/2014/02/.....kle-pants/), for which I am grateful! I've seen ankle pants at all kinds of lengths IRL and IMHO some look good, some meh, some bad to my eye. Mine fall pretty much exactly where the model's does (the model wearing the loafers), i.e. right at the ankle bone, so I have decided I'm happy with the fit. I realize that Angie likes this look with a higher vamped shoe such as a flat loafer, but there is nothing about flats that makes this 5' tall gal look any taller, so I opted to stick with heels (lower nude heels with a peep-toe, since our weather has been in the 70s!). Just wanted to say thanks for all of your input and I highly recommend these pants. Soooo comfy (and cheap, too). I want to buy a pair of dark blue ones but I see they are already sold out online in my size (*sigh*). I like these with both heels and loafers, despite the fact that I am not really big on flats. So yay!
