Style Direction 2020

1/ Hair
I have decided to go with a shoulder length lob/bob. No more layers. I am keeping the bangs. Picture #1 is my inspiration.

2/ Utilitarian Chic
I have been wearing this look for awhile and it works for my lifestyle. I am going to embrace it. Picture #2 and #3 are some ideas that I like.

3/ Gold Jewellery
My ears can only tolerate gold earrings these days so I have been wearing my gold studs. Certainly this was not my usual but I am getting use to it. Picture #4 are some earrings that I am considering.

My word for 2020 is grounded and my colour is olive. My wardrobe is in a good place. Big thank you to YLF for that!

Style Fan: love your minimalist, earthy style! So different from mine, but I really relate. I also can only wear gold jewelry because of sensitivities. I have a couple of white gold pieces but tend to wear low carat yellow gold every day since it's much easier to find. Vrai+Oro and Mejuri are two brands I really enjoy.

I love the "utilitarian chic" look. Funny story: I saw your post earlier today, and thought: "Oh yeah, those hiking boots that I was so struck by during our Stockholm trip. Maybe the look just hasn't made it to Seattle yet."

Then I was on Big University Campus this morning and those boots were all. over. the. place! So, uh, I guess I need to get out more instead of thinking I know what's up...

Notsaf, I have heard of the jewellery brands you mentioned. I am always a little worried about ordering something online. Mejuri does get such good reviews though.
Kim, the inspiration photos (#2 and #3) are from Net-a-Porter. They have the best styling. I didn't check the price of the sweater. It is nice.
Sarah, that has happened to me too. I hear about a trend and think that it hasn't appeared in my world. Then it is all over the place.
