I've been on YLF for over a year now and I've yet to settle on a style descriptor. Early in the year I was eager to find that perfect descriptor but I don't think I had shared enough photos for anyone to help me with a definition. In this post, I'm including some random photos of outfits that feel like "me" along with some of the musings I've added to my wardrobe notebook in Evernote.

Some of the things I like:
Simple designs
Strong colors
Minimal more than ALGO
Prefer solids over prints
In prints, prefer graphic over floral
Color blocking
Black and white
Edgy
Slouchy, fluid, oversized but not head to toe- one area needs to be more slim or slightly fitted
Statement bags
Silver
Colors- neutrals of white, black, gray and a bit of navy
Colors- red, purple, cobalt, aqua/turquoise, mustard, citron, emerald, burgundy

I don't like (for me):
Ruffles
Bows
Girly
Whimsical
Small floral prints
Pastels
Fussy designs
Brown
Khakis
Preppy
Bombshell
Sporty
Most pattern mixing
"Country club matron"

I love jeans and prefer pants over skirts, though I do like some dresses. I prefer clothes that are fuss free and comfortable. I might wear a layering tee with a jacket or cardigan but never a tee, a sweater and a blazer- that's too much going on for me.

In my younger years I preferred a rocker chick vibe. I would say that I want to have a bit of edge but nothing dramatic and I don't like to look costumey.

So wise Fabbers, I would love your insight. What words might you use for my style? Or do I even have a style??

Thanks for your help!
