I LOVE it. Not that I can copy it in any shape or form - but it makes me happy. Cognac is a stunning and versatile neutral, and blush is fresh and very pretty. A little Retro. It reminds me of Prada Fall RTW 2015. (I am SOOOO into Retro Futurism this year).

Okay. That's me on the forum today. No more till tomorrow. Arm is slow to heal.

Ooh, I love a lot about this, actually; in addition to the color combination, I love how the diagonals on the pullover are in direct opposition to the diagonals on the skirt. Plus the textures ... the knit mixed-fiber sweater and the suede(?) skirt and smooth leather footwear.

Yes, the colors are great in this outfit. I have the pieces for this if I flipped the colors (teal on top, blush on bottom) but...it's too much color in one outfit for me to wear. I'll have to enjoy it vicariously on someone else.

That is a totally new combination to me. Very lovely! It looks late summer to me somehow; like withered flowers and dead grass, i.e. August in Texas. And teal for swimming pools. The textures are a nod to fall, without the coloring. Fascinating!

I LOVE that skirt. If only it didn't require tops to be tucked in... Fun color combo too - it totally reminds me of the 70s. I may have had a tee in all those colors back then.

It IS lovely!
This is the type of combination I could do in reverse or with scarf sleight-of-hand or other accessories. No, it would not be as visually stunning or as bold, but these are reminders of how we could get fresh looks by being aware of new or unusual combinations and adapting them.

So funny you posted this. I saw that skirt in the Anthro catalog and it was the only thing in there I looked at for longer than a split second. Too bad I have no need for skirts in my life (I need to find some silly excuse to wear the ones I have!).

I like the color combination of the outfit but the colors in that top would probably not do much for me. Now, if there were a top that incorporated the teal in with the blush and rust tones, THEN I could probably wear it happily!

When I was at a Nordstrom in SF last month I took a picture of this display. The colors, which are similar to yours pictured, and fringe hems were what struck me.

Angie, what if you wore your cognac booties, your DVF blush/ leopard sweater, and a cognac bag...or a cognac jacket? Would that echo the effect? You have other items in your blush capsule, too. I know they wouldn't provide the cool retro diagonal stripe effect, alas.
