really beautiful and very very wearable. Thank you Angie! i never have the stamina to plough thru all the collections, so i love it when people point me to the creme de la creme
Hi Lisa: "And tucking a chunky jumper into a skirt is a neat idea, but how does that not create extra bulk?" my educated guess is we're looking at a bodysuit, below the waist it's a nicely cut sleek jersey - no bulk where it's not wanted, tuck stays perfect. That's the difference with really well-thought out clothing. (Living in the Sf Bay Area i've been able to go snooping in various designer boutiques. Also, i sew, and Vogue Patterns carries a lot of designer patterns, that bodysuit trick is used quite a bit esp. by Donna Karan.)
I'd wear pic #1 flat out as is. I'm saving it as a great inspiration picture for how to take my signature look too a very polished, urban level. Rabbit, Amelia Earhardt is one of my two style icons (the other being Isak Dinesen), i love that vibe as well!
Angie, on the whole i think this collection was made expressly for you. Frankly, I'd be shocked if You Look Fab isn't in Mr. Coppola's browsing history. My last three pics here especially reminded me of you - tho i'm not too hot on the beanie for you either (tho it mite do wonders to keep you warm, just sayin'). I think you'd look great in pic #3 including the hat. Your shock of blond bangs would so pop against all that dark, and would look fab with that bag. Just scoot the hat a wee bit back on your head if you feel it's crowding your face.
I wouldn't mind trying pic #3 myself! And taking a closer look at that leather jacket in pic #1, i had a jacket in the same exact cut for around 15 years - i finally let it go because i got smaller and it was just so big it did nothing to keep me warm unless i wore a fleecy and sweater underneath. But it was very fun for a long time! Happy Day All! steph
