The BR store has this top in a light gray. It may be a blast from the 80's, but I like it, especially tucked, and like how the knit cuff lets sleeves stay scrunched.

No pics, so have to use imagination here, but I'm stuck on sizes.
The XS fits fluidly but still pulls a little across chest and is not really long.
The next size up, size S I just love for how when tucked it looks like it has luxurious extra fabric, kind of swashbuckle-y, kind of intentionally oversized, so it adds proportion to slimmer bottoms like pencil skirt, but at that size the armholes are deeper. That's actually good on the one hand, because it gives more room in chest (funny since I don't really need that!). So me it looks great when arms are down, and armholes depth isn't visible, but when I raise arms, I think most people would think it's a whole size too big.

Of course one approach is to say neither fits. I'm torn because the smaller size is the more conventional, while the larger size may be too aggressively oversized.

I could take one home and play, as mirror truth is better, so I may do that. Would probably do the smaller one to see if it is not wearable in the ways I need, such as if too tight through hip to wear out, etc., and also in store there was only one of each size and the S had just the slightest problem with the hem, hung a bit crooked (apropos the question on, " how perfect" should items be) so might have to order another one.

Thoughts? On how you resolve, go big or go home vs. whether will wake up and say, this is just wrong and stick with more usual sizing.
