While my new white shirt was in the laundry was in the laundry bin, a cloth that had been used to mop up some foundation or powder was thrown in on top and not detected for some days. I was NOT happy. Now the shirt is stained(Note to anyone who has kids who clean the bathroom as part of their jobs to explicitly tell them when to put their cleaning cloths, I thought I had covered this ground but they must have forgotten )

So far I have tried, in order; squirting with pre wash remover and washing, soaking in stain remover and then washing, taking to the drycleaners, using a paste of stain remover (though it was an environmenally friendly sort) and bleaching for 5 minutes and then washing. Since then it has been hanging on the line, getting drenched by our spring rains and probably not getting much sunshine to bleach it. The stains are still there

Do you have any further suggestions? In my small wardrobe and budget, this shirt represented a significant portion.
