Stuart Weitzman sizing

I have never owned or even tried on a pair of Stuart Weitzman shoes. I love the pumps especially, and now there's a pair I'm just short of lusting after.
I'll have to order them online, so I was wondering if I could guage their sizing compared to other brands (Nine West, for example) to see what range I should look at trying.

I wear a 10, but I have a 10 1/2 and 9 1/2 in them. They're both sandal styles though.
The 10 1/2 has an ankle strap, and the 9 1/2 is open toe mule style.
Love the shoes though.

I usually wear 6 - 6.5 and in Stuart I can get away with a 7, although 6.5 is probably perfect.

I definitely agree with going up a half size. Depending on the "pointiness" of the toe, maybe even a whole size. I was gifted two pair of beautiful pointy-toed pumps in size 6.5 and they fit rather snugly. My true size is normally a 6.5.

Size up half a size unless you have narrow feet. If you have wide feet, you probably won't like SW.

Hmm, my one pair of SW sandals are true to size, but then maybe that's b/c my feet are on the narrow side.

I bought them at a CA Nordstrom's during what must have been their half year sale while I was there for a conference, years ago. It was my first foray into a Nordies - ah, the memories.

Sandals in 10, closed shoe in 10 1/2. Yes, they are for a narrower foot. I have a long narrow foot and these shoes have been wonderful for me--I've been wearing them for 25 years. (Try to find a 10 1/2 narrow--or medium--many manufacturers don't make them. This makes SW worth the money to me.)

Compared to Cole Hahn they run smaller and narrower, same as for Kenneth Cole.

Don't know how they run in really high heels. I stick to lower heels.

Another SW fan...love his shoes!

I wear a 9.5N, and order accordingly. Although, this past fall, I bought a pair of shooties ("Coverup"), and sized down to a 9N. The last on the shoe is kind of long.

If you can, try some on in your local Nordies to get an idea of the sizing, even if it isn't the style that you are seeking.

If you can only order online, get a couple of sizes and send back whatever doesn't work. At least you'll know what to do. Then you can have fun hunting for bargains at Nordies Rack and such.

Thanks for all the advice! I sometimes think I have wide feet, but none of my heels are wide sizes. I wear 7 in sandals and flats and 7.5 in heels. None of which are wide.
I guess the only way to know is to try them on. I wish the style I want still came in wide sizes at Nordstrom. I'll swing by my store today and see what they have for me to try.

I typically wear a 7 B in most brands but was put in a 71/2 N for a gladiator by sw.
