Are we noticing a theme here? The funny thing is that I didn't see it until I downloaded the pictures from my camera. (In addition to the three outfits pictured here, I've also been wearing stripes this week for my workwear.)
#1: This weekend I was apartment searching with my boyfriend. We found a place that we were interested in, but we're not 100% sure about whether it will work for us and, are still looking. Afterwords we went to a local brewers festival. I sampled a blackberry ale that I really enjoyed-a good flavor without tasting overly sweet. Other friends went wild over a bacon flavored beer... Not quite my thing, but interesting. Striped cowl neck sweater dress, black pointe knit jeggings, black sparkly gold trouser socks, black Mary Janes.
#2: On Sunday I went to have tea and lunch at the Queen Mary tea room with my mom and a good friend of ours. I have frequently found myself wanting a black midi skirt, but haven't found the right garment yet. Instead I paired this navy blue and black striped top over a black knit dress and it worked out okay. Worn with black tights, black & multicolored tweed flats, and bronze pocket watch necklace.
#3: I broke out the Bailey 44 striped dress, which has truly been a godsend this winter - one of the most comfortable and easy pieces I own. I was so glad that the youlookfab crew encouraged me to try it out on our last Seattle meetup. With chocolate tights, burgundy and bronze beaded necklace, and burgundy pumps.
