Striped midi skirt - pattern mixing

I recently posted about a striped midi skirt I have added to my wardrobe. While trying to work out what might go with it, I tried some pattern mixing. This is definitely outside of my comfort zone and some of them look pretty bad to my eye. I'm wondering which looks should and which should not get a run outside of my house.

1 - striped midi skirt, leopard print tank, tan wedges
2 - black/white printed long-sleeved top, black wide belt, black cage heels
3 - white cami, sheer grey self-spot top, white obi belt, black laser cut ballet flats
4 - black/white plaid shirt, red canvas flats
5 - black/white face print strapless top, black/white tie-dye drapey cardigan, black converse

I really like #4 with the gingham blouse--it would look really cool with either the black Converse-type sneakers or the black strappy sandals. I also like #2! Great pattern mixing!

I love #2 and #5 as is!

With the others, it's mostly nitpicking, but some thoughts:
#1 looks like it could do with the black shoes from #2 or #3 to bookend your hair and echo the tie on the blouse neckline.
#3 has great potential, but a couple of things give me pause. One is that the skirt is grinning through the sheer blouse. This could be remedied by a longer cami or tank top. Another solution is to tuck the top into the skirt as well, and then belt. The second thought I had was that the ties on the blouse, the obi belt, and the shoes' bows/rosettes are a tad excessive together, so I'd suggest changing to a more streamline shoe (maybe the ones in #2?)
#4 is again the shoes I'm thinking should be changed. The red is sort of close but not close enough to the skirt colour, if you see what I mean? How about the shoes from #3 here to dress it up slightly? Or go with the black Cons?

I am afraid I am so rude as to not like any of them. That was a difficult skirt. How about a white button up?

I also like 2 and 4 but prefer the shoes in 2. I feel the vibe of the skirt is more dressy and it needs a shoe that is as well.

You really do look great in that skirt. Have you tried a loose boxy creamy white sweater. I am thinking possibly with a boatneck in a soft loose knit like a relaxed cable or something like this.

I particularly like the last two pics, and all of them are an interesting experiment! You chose your shoes well, too. Glad to see you taking fun risks with fashion!

I like them all. They're very *post punk,* which I'm into. This may or may not suit your lifestyle tho.

My fave is actually #5, but I worry a bit that the tube top is sitting just a little low on your chest...

Fun! I like #1 best, especially because of the shoe with a bit of heel. How about wearing the strapless top in #5 over the white cami in #3?

Think !-4 have potential. A solid jacket on top would really "calm down" the pattern mixing a bit. An untucked, black cami under the sheer blouse might work better since there is already ALGO (a lot going on). Good work!

I think #2 is great as it is - very bold, but great. The others are okay too but not as great to me. #4 top seems a little too casual or something - not really the gingham but maybe the style of the top.

i'm not really feeling the skirt. if i had to pick one, i would pick the first then the last, only because i adore that bustier style top.

I'm sorry to chime in with the hesitating ones. I *absolutely love* the siluette of #2 with the black belt and the print top, but I'm not a fan of the combo stripes/animal print as in this photo. But I'm new here, so I might be wrong

ok... i am not with the naysayers and totally thinking all of them work... #3 not quite as well but still doable. I think the skirt is incredibly versatle. in 5 i might layer a tank under the "face top" because i am paranoid of ending up a fashion not for exposing my bellybutton when not on the beach...
