It's not junior looking but very twee. It kinda reminds me of something Marc Jacons would put Dakota Fanning in for one of his ads.

Hard to tell from a photo. Sometimes its the seams and finishes that can make a dress look disposable (think Forever 21!). But if you are asking about style alone I think this looks fairly classic.
I get some juniors stuff due to fit issues, also. Mostly jackets since ladies sizes invariably have low armpits and I can't always find things in petites.

I could only see this on Dakota Fanning it it was hemmed up to where her junk just about hung out of the trunk (if ya know what I mean). It doesn't look young to me.

I'd have to see it on you, but from this shot if you imagine her in a womanly pose (arms out and toes not pointed in) it wouldn't surprise me to see it in the non-juniours.

I also think replacing the ribbon for a leather belt could downplay the twee factor.

I like it! I think it only looks 'junior' because of the model. I think it would look normal on a proper adult.

I like it. I think sometimes it's hard to see past the model they put it on. Maybe take off the bow belt if you're worried about young-ness since polka dots are already a playful factor.

You would so rock this style Rita! I would covet it myself if I didn't already have a black Kate Spade version with white polka dots! I bet it would fit you well especially since you're petite. How would it look with the black obi belt instead of the ribbon? That might counter the cutesiness of the polka dots.

I unapologetically shop in junior's every so often. I got my cute rust orange and navy peacoats in the junior's section at Nordstrom!

What's kid stuff are the model's Mary Jane shoes and her pigeon-toed stance, and the ribbon belt. With the right accessories and belt this dress could be great for summer. Go for it!

I think its sophisticated and don't look "junior" at all. Add high heels and you have nice dress that could go pretty much anywhere! I shop at junior departments a lot because their sizing fits me better so nothing wrong with that. I found some nice trendy pieces before at Nordstroms

I like it a lot also. Rita, you could style it in all sorts of ways to mitigate the potential sugar-coma sweetness of it. I could see someone like Diane Keaton back in the day doing some interesting take on this dress.
