@ Suz - you’ve got that right! Burgundy is back with a vengeance, it seems.
@ LJP - I will! I don’t write in a journal, but rather photo journal. I’m planning on revisiting the photos and posts later for iinspirayion. Want to get them out while they’re fresh - so thought I’d share on YLF!
@ Roberta - the boots are much like Cobb Hill. They are ‘vegan’ which frankly, I believe, means ‘plastic’ - not leather. That’s probably why they are waterproof. With their pile lining (and worn with wool socks) they have been great for the colder days (right around freezing.). I could see them getting hot in warmer weather - so not for year ‘round. I did get them on sale at a small shoe shop that was trying to move some ‘one of’ older season boots.
@
Irina - same when it comes to pastries! (See below - eine Milchkaffee und himmelbeeren torte!)
@ Firecracker, Dee - in a sea of black puffers and jeans, this group really stood out. I was wondering if they were a group of fashion savvy friends having a get together? It wasn’t a good ‘shopping’ day, since it being Sunday the bigger stores were mostly closed. Smaller mom and pop places and the Christmas Markets were hopping, though.
