Storm/grey/brown or storm/grey/navy?

I am taking a quick trip to NYC (5 hrs by bus, a quick errand, and 5 hrs back) and need to wear something comfortable for the trip. I also need to carry a fairly large crossbody bag to fit my book/Kindle etc. Which of this do you prefer - brown or navy?

The t-shirt is a different shade of blue (storm?) so it does not match the navy bag.

Oh yes, I have a few books on my Kindle and a really fascinating book on GMOs called "Mendel in the Kitchen", which I need to finish reading and return to the library. So I am kind of looking forward to being able to spend the day reading.

I wish the brown was slightly darker but I like it more. Better contrast. I actually thought it was a bronze bag until I read the description. Based on your metallic flats, it wouldn't be a bad idea.

Brown - it's more interesting, more of a contrast with your outfit, and it looks better with your shoes.

Thanks everyone! I am going this coming week - I need to pick up some paperwork at a consulate in NYC so it has to be a weekday trip. I am also hoping to do some people watching/window shopping if I take the MTA bus uptown

On the way back, I will be joined by my Mom - she usually takes the Amtrak train when she comes to visit us but she is going to brave the bus trip with my help.

Pil - yes, definitely team wear! The skirt is so comfortable that I might order another color but I want to road-test it first.
