STILL debating on the crop white tux

I know, I drive myself crazy with deliberation! I still have this jacket on my watch list. With birthday time rolling around I'm getting more loose with the cash lol. I found out my tax return will cover my whole year's clothing budget! So when I hear the BF say I have enough clothes already, I can just say Uncle Sam is generously clothing me this year - don't worry about it. HA!
Anyway, I already had a few ideas about [mostly pant] outfits this could go with. Now I'm debating whether it will work equally with dresses. It is 19 1/2" long. I'm thinking maybe some of these. Tell me if I'm off base and it wouldn't work. Please. It's not returnable so I have to be sure. Argh, the agony of decision!

I think it is really cute and would work with the last three pieces. Not positive about the BW dress. A friend says that she asks herself if the new piece will add a new element to her wardrobe or just replace an existing piece in outfits (or something like that). I think it is a good question. If you feel the jacket will add an element of style or bring something new to your wardrobe, then it would be a good purchase.

Thanks for the input. Sitting in my a/c house I was seriously debating, measuring jackets I own for comparison. I was snapped rudely back to reality driving to the library this afternoon in 90+ degree heat. No jackets for me. The forecast is 90 and up from here on out. As it is, I have brand new cognac boots and red jeans I can't wear for many months. Why add another new, out of season, item to the list?!?
I will search again this fall and see if it's around. Maybe I'll be lucky

I do really like it and think I would wear it. I have a corduroy blazer that's off white I've worn quite a bit over the years that is just a bit too casual for some ensembles. This would fit the bill and with my recent red addiction could be a fun contrast. But . . . there is no escaping the fact of my climate. And I'm tired of looking at the pretty things I can wear 6 months from now lol!

Maybe you should look for some great costume jewelry for now Personally that is something I have trouble finding for myself because I would always rather buy clothes, shoes, or bags.

Oh is this your friend Renee again? You know I love it! But the question is would you wear it? Also, since you work in a restaurant, you probably want to avoid that cater/waiter look during your off hours by pairing it with bold colors, not black and white.

Ah, I like a challenge!! I figured a fall back option could always be jeans and a colorful tee or tank under. I could do that iteration in half a dozen ways alone!
It's funny, I do know I had several occasions where I could have used a dressier light topper over the last few seasons but I can't recall any specific outfits now.
I do know I used my cord jacket instead and it was just that bit 'off'. Here is that cord jacket (with knits, which I think works fine).
BUT, I am back to whether I want to 'score' a jacket to have for fall/winter, knowing I can't wear it for many months. If I wait and it's gone I'll be equally bummed lol.
Oh, and Scarlet, I *did* just get myself a fun necklace for an early birthday present, so I am on your wavelength hee hee!

Malina, there is a similiar jacket (although I think a longer length) at EXPRESS right now. There is a great sale going on, too.

Perhaps order that one and play around with it (since it will be returnable)....even if it isn't the length you prefer.....and then decide if this white tuxedo jacket will play nicely with your other pieces?
