Steve Madden - Comfortable for fussy feet?

Anyone own any Steve Madden shoes? Would you say they are comfortable? How fussy are your feet?

I was eyeing up a pair of burgundy booties (burgundy, not black, what happened!) from this line but they are not a traditional "comfort" brand. The heel is nice and low. Looks like it has an almond toe, and I love that shape of toe.

Oh my those are lovely and I think they would work so nicely in your closet. I have a pair of Madden black pumps which I wear for dress. They have been fantastic - I wore them to a wedding where I was on my feet for many many hours.

I have Madden boots and they are very comfy. I do wear additional foot support in them

I've owned them in the past and they were fine. My feet aren't really very fussy though. I'd give them a try--the low heel and the fabrication look good in terms of comfort!

ETA: I have the Maximus bootie and they are super comfy. I forgot about those.

Agree with rachylou. Some are great. Some not so much.

I have a pair of flat SM boots and they are OK comfortwise, but they have NO arch support. I use OTC orthotics so the lack of arch support is not a huge deal for me, and I also added a foam insole for extra padding.

I have this bootie in black. It is what is in some of my WIW's trying out with skirts and dresses.

It made "the cut" although I had not shopped exhaustively--but had not seen many low-heeled. I think it could use a bit more padding but haven't taken the energy to add an insole. Is still a bit wide overall for my foot but then again it doesn't pinch.

It doesn't fit trimly about the ankle, so I have trouble liking it with sheer hose or nude hose--I haven't got around the leg-in-a-flower-pot look with skirts--but I like it with opaque black tights.

I recently bought a Madden Girl bootie, faux suede so not super quality, because it was super-low 1/2 or so heel--but is lace-up. Got it to have a very low heel for pants that are hemmed to flat shoes. Not made as well as the Prizze and less padding in the insole but has an almond-tapered toe that I think looks "modern" for now but is not too pointy. I think it may be short-lived, but decided would be okay if I got 6-12 mos of regular wear out of it, hoping to find a better quality item.

As others have said, it really depends. I've had a few pair of the dressier styles and even the low heeled ones weren't comfortable for the whole day. That said, I was on my feet most of the day, so take it for what its worth.
