Sterling: your tote search

Sterling, I owe you an apology! I completely missed your question about your new red totes on my recent WIW post. Did you make a decision? Could you post them again in a separate thread, where you could get more feedback, and perhaps with photos? I personally liked the structured, truer red one, but that reflects my recent style preferences. I'd like to hear more about what you are finding in your tote search.

Don't be silly. I figured you would get back to me when you could.

I got the Fossil Tote on Friday. The color is what I wanted, but I was genuinely surprised to see that it was smaller than I envisioned from their website. I compared it to the tote I am currently using and the Fossil tote was only a bit smaller, but that tiny bit mattered to me. So off it went on Saturday.

I ordered the Frye tote on Friday from Nordstroms (not on sale, but I know I will get a lot of use out of it so it doesn't have to be a sale price). I won't get that tote until around July 28-30th. Very excited.

It's so hard to get a true sense for the size of bags when ordering online! I've found that even with measurements, a bag can be very different from my expectations.

Good luck with the Frye tote! Post pics when it comes. I am LOVING my new silver Milly tote and have already used it a lot. I won't miss the two it's replacing at all.
