Stella & Dot jewelry

I have stayed away from non-precious metal jewelry so far because of lead concerns. Stella & Dot seems to be an okay brand but the price point is much higher than Ann Taylor or BR on sale.

Does the quality live up to the price?

I’ve never heard of Stella and Dot before. Their designs do seem nice.

The quality is inconsistent. I bought a pair of sterling silver hoops and one cracked within a year. I have never had that happen to any of my jewelry before. I also bought a leather wrap bracelet which I wear all the time and it still looks like new.

Like Molly Mac, I have had mixed experience possibly more negative than positive. I have ordered a number of items and then ended up returning them because they look cheap or feel flimsy. I do have a few that seem very nice and good quality including one gold tone necklace that I wore frequently for 4-5 years before I stopped coloring my hair.

I often find nice costume jewelry at White House Black Market. I wait for a sale, and pick and choose pieces with care.

its not bad stuff...i look for it at 2nd hand consignment shops and never pay more than $12. i have quite a bit. once it gets tired or worn, i give to goodwill.
