Was inspired by today's blog post to wear some statement socks! These cutout boots just scream for them. The socks themselves are not that statementy, just a plain burgundy with small cables, but it turns out most of my really fun socks are also crazy printed, which is a bit much with these boots. I do have some polka dot and sstriped pairs that also work.
Sorry I don't have a better photo of the entire outfit. I actually did take a photo with my real camera but I can't find the card reader at the moment so you'll have to settle for my iPhone selfie. ;). Anyway, it's a black cowl neck knit dress and blue hand knit cocoon cardigan, plus my fuchsia longchamp le pliage. Insanely warm today.
