I love Angie’s concept of the statement piece (http://youlookfab.com/2006/12/.....ent-piece/), but it’s something I hadn’t heard of until this December when I subscribed to YLF and started digging into the archives. Could anybody give me specific examples of statement pieces you have bought and loved? Picture would be great, but they aren’t necessary. Also, are their statement pieces that can last more than one season and even become a part of your personal style? I think the closest thing I’ve ever head to a statement piece was a collection of light scarves and shawls that I used to wear all the time. They fit my artsy look nicely, and I need to start wearing them again. And finally, what are some good examples of statement pieces for this season? I’d really like silver heels and/or red patent heels. I’m not sure if I can afford both though. Would either of these make good, stylish statement pieces?
