Are you planning to wear this look this season? Is it still in? I've been given a kimono inspired topper as a present and I remember there were some great examples from forum members last year that I can copy. That said, will you be sporting it this season? Is it still in?

I saw a kimono in Zara yesterday so I think it's still stylish to wear.

I've been eyeing kimono jackets (longer styles and shorter) too, Bella, and I'm really in the mood to give them a try. So I vote yes:-)
(And the fact that I'm seeing quite a few of them around makes me think they are definitely still in - even if that was not the case, I think it's one of those individual, arty looks that never really feels dated?).

Only yesterday I was thinking if I can find the right flowy piece, I'd be open to trying this style. I think it would suit my desire for a third piece and still help me stay cool if I can find something light.

They are a staple in my wardrobe! I've been stocking up while they're fashionable, because I will wear them long after they are no longer in the stores. But yes, they are still trendy/stylish.

I still love them ever since Angie suggested them a few years back. I have a shorter black and white version that I love in the summer to throw over casual wear and dresses. For me it has ended up being the perfect topper for a short sleeve black dress which is my go to for events.
I had a second one with fringe on the bottom but my DD snagged it :).

It's definitely on my radar and I think if I saw just the right one, I'd go for it. I am seeing them on some instagram feeds , and on other blogs etc. For it to look current, it needs to be styled intentionally and in colours that look modern and not found in a vintage clothing bin (not that that's a bad thing but......)

I just added this one to my closet...it's the first one I have but I just had to have it...the colors are perfect for my wardrobe. It's seems so versatile to me to throw on with jeans or to dress up a plain black dress!

Well it's settled then. Time to play dress up in my closet. Although I noticed that my black and white tshirts, which are wardrobe essentials for me, are looking pretty worn out and need to be replenished. I will probably need them for this outfit.

I would love to wear a kimono style topper! Kimono toppers look so feminine, timeless, elegant, even a bit glamorous, and at the same time casual and relaxed. A perfect mix, in my opinion.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen many in the stores in my area, but I hope to find one I like, sooner or later.
