I'm starting a new job this Friday -- the dress code is usually business casual. HR emailed me to confirm my start date, and she wrote "Fridays are jeans days… so bonus for you!"

So, my question is, should I wear jeans on my first day of work? I bought a nice pair of trouser jeans, so I'm thinking that might be a good compromise. But I still feel a little weird wearing jeans on day one.
