After years of working from home in leggings and t-shirts, I have started going back to the office more frequently and have spent significant time in courtrooms (I’m a paralegal). Unfortunately, I have changed shape significantly and no longer can fit in any of the beautiful clothes I had in my closet. I had to buy some emergency blazers for trial and now I’m rounding out my wardrobe. I ordered a lot of stuff. I don’t expect to keep it all, but hope a good deal of it will work for my conservative work environment.

I have received the blue poet blouse. I think it looks better on me than the model simply because the shoulder seams sit where they’re supposed to. It’s a great color, the v-neck will let me show off a pretty necklace, and I can swan about like Lord Byron or Wordsworth.

The mock turtle neck dress is going back however. I’m sure that’s going to be a great dress for some people. The fabric is really nice and thick and has a good stretch. It’s very stiff, however. It just didn’t sit right on my body.

I have my doubts about the pussy-bow blouse. I haven’t really had success with similar blouses in the past, but I’m giving it a try. I think the short sleeves might help minimize the effect of being swallowed by a blouse.

The one review of the black sheath dress suggests the fit is strange, so that will likely go back—but it looks nice in the picture. Fingers crossed!

I’m particularly excited about the puffer (i ❤️ tweed) and the leopard print blouse. I have a polka dotted Vince Camuto blouse that makes me happy every time I put it on. I hope the fit is similar (I ❤️ leopard print too).

Thanks for looking! This is always such a fun time of year!
